About Amie

Hi! My name is Amie Flaherty and I’m the owner and designer at Oak and Lily Studios. I’m married to my high school sweetheart Kyle, and we have three beautiful children, Nace, Norah and Neil.

 I first started to look into floristry after doing my own silk flowers for my wedding. (What?! A florist that had silk flowers at her wedding? I know.) The next year I enrolled at Hennepin Technical College for their Floral Design program and loved it! After graduating I started an internship and ended up working at a flower shop, while also doing family and friends weddings for the next 5 years. In 2017 I ventured out on my own to do mainly weddings, events and workshops.
